Dealing with CQC

Home/Selling a practice/Dealing with CQC

The CQC is really complicated and changes all the time so you need to seek advice from a team that has a wealth of experience behind them.

The objective of the CQC is to ensure the person applying is fit and suitable for the role –it will be important to provide evidence of management experience – such as the Building Business Competence seminars due to the recent shift in the CQC requirements.

You need to deal with the CQC differently when selling an NHS or Private practice;

• A private practice sale will require the principal to de-register and the buyer to register with CQC
• An NHS practice sale will require the principal to de-register and then undertake a joint registration with the purchaser

Please give us a call so we can help you with your unique situation.
